The content of the lesson is planned according to the skill level and wishes of the participants, so please tell us about your skill level and previous cycling background when booking.
At beginner-level (Bike Park Level 1 / Green routes) you will learn the correct riding position, balance and speed (i.e. brakes), which are important skills when riding on a downhill trail. You will also get to enjoy the flow of easy green downhill trails of Ruka. Technical tips help biking even on the most challenging sections of various off-road trails.
At intermediate-level (Bike Park Level 2 / Blue routes) we will guide you with riding technique for intermediate DH routes, such as better technique on the banks, small jumps and safe and controlled driving of steep sections. Practicing balance and speed control will help you enjoy riding even on Ruka Bike Park's most demanding routes.
Prices for Bike Park private lessons:
2 h = 126 € / 1 -2 person, + 30 € / additional person.
For the Bike Park downhill ride, you also need biker's lift ticket and a front-suspended mountain bike or DH bike (not included in the lesson price). Please rent the bike & equipment well in advance, and it is good arrive to the rental office no later than 30 minutes before the start of the course.
