Student tickets online

The student discount does not apply to groups. The student card must be valid at the time of purchasing the lift ticket. Studies must be full-time at a university, university of applied sciences, vocational institution, special vocational school, or upper secondary school in Finland under public supervision.

Ruka season passes are on sale at our online store and in the ticket office Piste rental within the opening hours. You can download the season pass to keycard at our ticket offices during the winter season from 3 October 25 to 3 May 26. With the Ruka season pass, you get benefits, such as rental shops and restaurants in the Ruka area.

Ruka-Pyhä season passes are on sale at our online store and ticket offices within the opening hours. You can download the season pass to keycard at our ticket offices during the winter season from 4 October 24 to 4 May 25. You get benefits in the Ruka and Pyhä area with a season pass, such as rental shops and restaurants.

Season passes for locals are on sale for residents of Kuusamo, and season residents of the Ruka and Pyhä caravan areas. Both Ruka and Ruka-Pyhä season passes are available.

How to redeem a local season pass:

• You can buy a local season pass at Ruka's ticket offices, i.e., Piste, Valley, or Vuosselinporti rental office, during their opening hours. For the time being, buying a discounted season pass online is not possible.
• To redeem the season pass for locals, you must live permanently in Kuusamo and have a postal address in Kuusamo. The benefit is also valid for seasonal residents of the Ruka caravan park.
• The season pass is uploaded to the keycard. If the person redeeming the card does not already have one, the charge for a keycard is 8 €.
• A season pass can be purchased throughout the ski season, but to take advantage of the advance price, please buy the season ticket by December 15th, 2025, at the latest.

In addition, we offer free Ruka-Pyhä lift tickets for the winter season 2025–2026 to all Finnish 10-year-old citizens  born in 2015 residing in Kuusamo, Pelkosenniemi, Sodankylä, Kemijärvi and Savukoski.

Company season pass

The Ruka-Pyhä company pass is a season card valid for the entire 2025-2026 ski season.
The pass is especially suitable for staff, partners, or other company communities and can be used in both Ruka and Pyhä ski resorts.

The company card is uploaded to the Ruka+Pyhä smart card, and its use is not tied to individuals. Company/community representatives, staff, and community holiday cottage residents are entitled to use the company card. The resale of the company card is prohibited.

If you need more than four cards, you can get the next ones at a reduced price. The price of the company card includes VAT 10%. You can make a VAT deduction from the card, and in the final taxation, the Net price is an expense/deduction of the tax base.

Company cards can be purchased by invoicing (invoicing fee 20€) by ordering them from our sales office sales@ruka.fi.

The replacement fee for a lost corporate card is 50 €.

When two adults buy 5-14-day lift tickets, children and youth in the same household receive a 25% discount from the normal price on the same ticket type. 

You can purchase a family ticket at the cashier or in the online store by adding the required number of tickets to your cart (the family discount will become available in the online store during October).

The early season -20% online discount is cheaper than the family discount, and please note that these discounts cannot be combined.

You will always get best price for pedestrian tickets online! In addition you can buy pedestrian tickets from the ticket machines, which you will find at both substations of the gondola lift or from all our lift ticket sales points (Piste, Valley and Vuosselinportti rental stores and Ski-Inn receptions in RukaVillage and RukaValley).

Snow racer rental and ticket sales start at 7 pm in Piste Rental Shop in Ruka village. It cannot be purchased from our online store.

Valid lift tickets can also be used for evening snow racing (excluding Family Park day tickets). Snow racer rental must be paid separately.

Experience the all-new Ruka Coaster – over 750 meters of winding track, stunning views, and speeds of up to 40 km/h! Ruka Coaster is open during winter season from Dec 6th until April 4th Sat–Thu between 1.30pm and 9.30pm, more info here.

Buy tickets cheaper online

Other discounts: Winter season pass holders can ride Ruka Coaster for free. With other lift tickets (valid for 3 hours or longer), Ruka Coaster tickets are available at a 50% discount from the list price by showing your valid lift ticket at the ticket counter. The discount cannot be applied with Family Park ticket or the Family Park + Gondola ticket.

Are you considering Ruka as a training ground for your group? With us, you can find the framework for alpine skiing, snowboarding, and freestyle skiing. In addition, Ruka offers a good setting for training in ski jumping, cross-country skiing, and combined.

At the moment, you cannot use vouchers for sports and cultural benefits in our online store, but only at our ticket sales points in Ruka.

At our ticket sales points in Ruka, you can pay for lift tickets and equipment rentals with the sports / cultural vouchers mentioned below. All vouchers are for personal use only, and they must have the user's name written in clear handwriting. You cannot use sports / cultural vouchers for lift tickets to the scenic gondola or summer sled track in the summer (tax office's decision).
