One of the questions we hear most often is: where can I see animals in Kuusamo?

Encountering husky dogs and reindeer is on the wish list of many small holidaymakers. Riding Finnhorses is also a popular activity in both the summer and winter. Bird watching can be enjoyed all year round, whereas summer is understandably the best time for bear watching.

Reindeer and birds can be encountered in forests especially in the summer, and you can meet other animals on husky farms, at horse stables and bear watching towers.
