Ruka Summer Sled Track

Ruka summer sled track is a speedy and exciting way to get to know Ruka in the summer. Take the VillageExpress chairlift up to the fell and enjoy the ride down. Of course, you can also take the chair lift both ways, up and down, and admire the fantastic view. The summer sled track is one kilometer long and made of steel. You come down the track on a specially-made sled. The track is entirely safe, and everyone can choose his or her own speed.

Please note that for safety reasons, the sled track is closed during rain and the lifts are closed in strong winds. The sled track is aimed to reopen within 1-2 hours after the rain stops. The real-time opening hours are shown on the map via the link.
