41 slopes, 22 lifts, and over 200 ski days a year.

The ski season in Ruka runs from October 3, 2025 to May 3, 2026. Slopes are open daily from 9:30 am to 7 pm, the gondola is open from 9:30 am to 11 pm. Night skiing is available from December 5 to April 3 on Fridays until 11 pm. Please check the exceptional opening hours below.

Lifts may be closed during strong winds or thunderstorms. You can find real-time opening hours and any exceptions directly from the map below.

During peak seasons, the Kulma or Vuosseli T-bar lift, as well as the Saarua T-bar lift, are also in use.

Snow Racing on the slopes Sat-Thu Dec 6 –4 Apr

On Christmas Eve, December 24, the slopes will close early at 2 PM due to special opening hours, and no downhill snow racing will be available. The next downhill sledding session will take place on the evening of Christmas Day, December 25.
