Experience the thrill of skiing at night time! Night skiing is possible on Fridays, 7 p.m.–11 p.m., from the 4th of December 2026 until the 16th of April 2027.

Ruka Night Skiing 

The popular Ruka Night skiing is here again! 

VillageExpress, SaaruaExpress, VuosseliExpress, and the Village-2-Valley Scenic Gondola are open until 11 pm. The slopes are open at Saarua 12, Saarua 13, Route to Saarua 16, RukaPark 14 & 15, Gondola slope 18, RukaPark Junior 23, Vuosseli 24, Vuosseli blue 25, Ahonlaita 27, Eturinteet (front slopes) 1 & 2 and Kuru 5.

The Night Skiing is automatically included in day tickets or longer tickets. The 3-hour ticket can also be used for Night Skiing if its validity period coincides with the time of Night Skiing.

Snow Racing on Ski Slopes

Snow racing on the slopes of Ruka, slopes numbers 5, 16 and 18, in the evenings from Saturday to Thursday from 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. after the slopes have closed for skiers.

Snow racers are available at Piste Rental, prices starting from 19 €/3 hours. You'll need a valid ski pass or Gondola ticket for snow racing, 21 €/2 hours (7.30-9.30 PM).

Private lessons in Ruka ski school can be booked for yourself, your child, your family or a whole group of friends. We offer lessons both on the slopes and on cross country ski tracks - choose from alpine skiing, snowboarding, telemark skiing, freestyle, adaptive alpine skiing or classic / skating cross country skiing and book your own lesson.
