Ruka Coaster – Finland’s First Alpine Coaster!
Like a roller coaster in the fells, Ruka Coaster offers stunning scenery and speeds of up to 40 km/h. Prefer a gentler ride? You control the pace with your own brake lever.
Hop into a sled at the lower station next to Piste Rental, where the track’s lift system carries you to the top. The 767-meter descent begins near the summit and finishes back at the base. Each sled fits two adults with individual safety belts. Children aged 3+ can ride with an adult.
Ruka Coaster Tickets
You can purchase a 1-, 2- or 5-ride pass for Ruka Coaster.
Ruka Coaster is included in the winter season passes, but not in other ticket types.
Holders of a 3-hour or longer lift ticket can buy Ruka Coaster tickets at a 50% discount off the list price by presenting a valid lift ticket at the ticket counter.
NEW! You can now purchase RUKA Coaster single pass online. After purchase, you will receive a digital ticket with qr-code, that you can show at the gate.
In addition to the single ticket, all other ticket types – including discounted Ruka Coaster tickets available with a valid lift ticket – can be purchased at Piste Rental, located next to Ruka Coaster.
Restrictions:
Minimum age: 8 years (ages 3–7 must be accompanied by an adult)
Minimum height: 135 cm (riders under 135 cm must be accompanied by an adult)
Maximum speed: 40 km/h
Maximum weight: 150 kg per sled
