Mountain biking is a great way to get to know the nature of the fell and the nearby terrain. The content and route of the mountain bike tour are planned according to the participant's own skill level and wishes. Already at the time of booking, please tell us about your previous cycling background and the type of bike you own or rent; options include e-bikes, traditional mountain bikes, and fatbikes.
Along the way, you'll get guidance on how to control your pace and balance, as well as the right downhill riding position. They are important skills when pedaling in varied terrain and riding on various downhill sections.
Mountain biking route options:
Rukatunturi area: 2 hours with e-bikes. Easy uphill sections as well as nice, easy, and even long downhills. Dirt roads, meadows, and various trails for cycling. The stunning 360-degree scenery crowns the climbs to the peaks. There are several different route options in the nearby area, so please tell us in advance if you have any wishes regarding the terrain and scenery of the excursion.
Pyhävaara: 2 or 3 hour tour, depending on the type of bike and the participants' previous mountain biking experience. The route is medium-level, including a few more technically demanding trail points. Along the route, there is also a tipi-like hut, a wooden outhouse, and a scenic stage near the top of Pyhävaara.
Valkeisenvaara: 2 or 3 hour tour, depending on the type of bike and the participants' previous mountain biking experience. The route is medium-level, including a few more technically demanding points. The route is also more demanding physically, especially when pedaling without electric support. Along the route, a fine landscape also opens up in the direction of Valtavaara.

Mountain bike tour price list: SUMMER TIME OFFER 1st additional person free of charge
2 h = 134 € from 1-2 person, + 33 € / additional persons (3 - 10 max).
3 h = 201 € from 1-2 person, + 49,50 € / additional persons (3 - 10 max).
For a mountain bike ride, you will need an MTB-bike (with front suspension) or an e-bike.
Please also reserve enough water to take with you on the trip. Dressing in accordance with the weather, as well as wearing thin gloves, is recommended. A helmet is mandatory.
We recommend the activity for anyone interested in mountain biking with a minimum of 10 years of age and basic fitness.
