Renovated in 2021, the RukaVillage88 apartments have a living room, kitchen and an 8-person dining area, as well as two separate bedrooms with twin beds and a sleeping alcove, that has a bunk bed with an 80 cm top bed and 120 cm bottom bed. (NB Sleeping alcove bed length is only 185 cm). In the living room area, the sofa bed can be used as an extra bed for 1‒2 persons without extra charge.
The apartment has two separate WCs, one of them in the master bedroom. The sauna department has a separate dressing room. Both the sauna department and living room have access to the balcony with the warm jacuzzi. Please note, the jacuzzi use is not included in the room price. The jacuzzi fee is €120/booking.
Living is easy, as the bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning are always included in the price.
Ski-Inn Reception is at the hotel street level.
The apartment storage facilities are specially designed for winter sports enthusiasts. All the apartments also have a separate ski locker and a ski maintenance room available in the hotel common area. You can park your car in the heated parking (320 places, parking fee), which has direct indoor access to the apartments. Free outdoor parking lots are available at Kelo and Stadion.
In Ruka Ski-Inn apartments, you can sort and recycle biowaste, plastic, glass, metal, paper and cardboard. All the Ruka Resort apartment buildings have a waste collection point with separate waste containers. Your holiday at Ruka Ski-Inn Resort is environmental-friendly. The energy we use is 100% renewable, and we heat with ecological wood chips. Your day out on the ski slope will not increase your carbon footprint, either, because Ruka Ski Resort is carbon-neutral in energy use.
In this apartment type, there is one pet room available. To check pet room availability, please choose the option Travelling with a pet (on the right-hand column). Pets are accommodated without extra charge.
We want to guarantee a good night’s sleep for all our guests, which is why our Ski-Inn apartments have quiet hours between 10pm and 8am.

RukaVillage apartments are located in the heart of Ruka village. To the east, the apartments have a view to the Ruka central square. To the west, the apartments overlook the peaceful nature of Kuusamo, all the way up to Lake Kitkajärvi. In the proximity of the hotel, there are several restaurants, including Colorado Bar & Grill, that serves breakfast for our hotel guests (additional fee). Near the hotel, in the Kauppakeskus Kumpare shopping centre, you’ll find several services – shops, restaurants, a bowling hall and gym.
Getting to the winter slopes and the x-country ski trails couldn’t be easier – the Front slopes and Talvijärvi slope are the closest ones. Leaving from Piste Rental Shop, the Village-2-Valley scenic gondola will take you directly to the other side of the Ruka fell, to Ruka Valley, Rosa & Rudolf Family Park and Saarua slopes. The Village-2-Valley gondola is accessible by wheelchair and pushchair. Pets are also welcome. The gondola is running also during the summer season with an easy access to bike trails and Valtavaara natural reserve area.
