ORIENTEERING CLINIC
In the children's orienteering clinic children’s get to know basics of the orienteering. After this, they have opportunity to try orienteering in labyrinth.
In the orienteering clinic for adults, orienteering-related issues are discussed a little more extensively than with children. We learn to read a map and use a compass. After that, you have the option to navigate the easy, path-based D track, about 1 km long, or the easy C track, about 2 km long, or even go on self-guided tracks (B and A tracks).
DIY CONTOROL POINTS
DIY control points are intended for orienteering enthusiasts. Departures at 17-18. The A and B tracks are located in the beautiful scenery of the Ruka fell area. Do-it-yourself control points are available free of charge at the orienteering clinic, at other times maps are for sale at Ruka Info in the Kumpare shopping center.

No pre-bookings, meeting point: in Ruka village in front of Tykky Scenery Tower. Bring equipment suitable for the weather, running shoes or hiking shoes and, if necessary, drinks. Compasses are loaned if needed.
