FIS Ruka Nordic
Great atmosphere, 10 competitions, 30 nations, 400 competitors. FIS Ruka Nordic starts the season again with all Nordic disciplines on the same stadium. 8 World Cup contests will be held during the long weekend in the end of November.
FIS World Cup Ruka Nordic will be held year 2020 without spectators. No tickets will be sold to the event. The decision was made in order to decrease the risk of coronavirus (COVID-19) infections at the event.
Information regarding Ruka Ski Stadium area during Ruka Nordic:
Due to the lack of guest stands/areas in Ruka Nordic this year, the competition can be joined via TV only (please check your national TV/sports channels). Wide screen at Piste in Ruka Village shows live broadcasts by Finnish national TV YLE.
Entrance to Ruka Ski Stadium area is restricted to accredited persons only (accreditation in Scandic Rukahovi conference centre). No trespassing at Ruka Ski Stadium.
Ruka Stadium ski trail (except of the Ski Stadium area itself) is available for all skiers until Wed 25.11. During Thu-Sun 26.-29.11. ski trail is available for skiing guests during the evening, after the competitions during each day.
