Tour begins from Ruka Village and winds through summit trails, forest paths and scenic valleys - ending with a Finnish sauna and refreshing dip in the outdoor pools.
- Total duration is about 5 h, including 2,5 hour guided bike tour and 2 h non-guided public sauna & pool visit in BASE Eat & Heat.
The cycling part of the tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours (10:00–12:30), including time at the bike rental shop. The tour starts with a gondola ride with the bike to the other side of the fell, then continues by bike along the scenic trails around Ruka, all the way to the Ruka summit.
At the end of the ride, the bikes are washed and returned. You can also pick up your sauna backpack, which can be stored at the rental shop during the cycling session.
After this, you will take the gondola up to Saarua summit, where you will have a short introduction to the sauna before your self-guided sauna session at the public sauna. The sauna time is reserved from 13:00 to 15:00.
- Suitable for ages 9+. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Basic cycling ability required.
