Up North Rail Jam 2025

Up North Rail Jam serves the hardest rails and most unusual lines in the North. It is a competition open to everyone, set to the rhythm by the artists and DJs of the Up North event! The series is divided according to the participants. There's something to ride for all park fans!

The three-day Up North event, which combines urban music and rail jams, will be held in Ruka for the fourth time on November 7-8, 2025. Up North Rail Jam will turn things up in Ruka Park, and a unique and versatile Rail Plaza will be built in Ruka Park for the weekend.

A great announcer and DJs with good music maintain the atmosphere on Friday and Saturday. Friday Up North Best Trick sessions are open to everyone and do not require pre-registration. DJ's will keep the pace of rail jam, and Friday's event program on snow culminates in live concerts. The slope gig is free and open to everyone.

As usual, there are all-day Up Nort Rail Jams on Saturday with free hot dogs. Saturday's race culminates in the men's open finals for both skiers and snowboarders! Soon to be announced artists and DJ's will perform at the live gigs. The slope gig is free and open to everyone. Remember to pre-register to Saturday's Rail Jam.

Pre-registration

Friday's Up North Best Trick sessions do not require pre-registration.

Registration for Saturday sessions closes on Friday 7 November 2025 at 23:59. On-site registrations are no longer accepted, you can only participate in the race by pre-registration!

Conditions of participation

Helmets are compulsory at the event, and each participant is responsible for having a valid accident insurance.

Prizes

On Saturday, "dollars" are awarded for good performances and surpassing oneself. In addition, the three best in each series will be awarded with product prizes. The dollars will be exchanged after the end of the competition for banknotes worth €50.

According to the Finnish Income Tax Act, all prizes are taxable income to the recipient. If you want to receive prizes at the event, be prepared to give your ID when exchanging dollars. Suppose you do not wish to provide your personal identification number. In that case, you will not be able to receive any prizes that may be offered to you.

Rukakeskus Oy handles the notification to the taxman.
