MastonAitio cottages are designed to meet the needs of active skiing families. The functional apartments have two bedrooms. In the living room area, the sofa bed can be used as an extra bed for 1‒2 persons without extra charge. A well-equipped kitchen, separate WC, and a private sauna provide a smooth vacation. Every apartment has a ski locker by the entrance.
Living is easy, as the towels, bed linen and end-of-stay cleaning are always included in the price.
In Ruka Ski-Inn apartments, you can sort and recycle biowaste, plastic, glass, metal, paper and cardboard. All the Ruka Resort apartment buildings have a waste collection point with separate waste containers. Your holiday at Ruka Ski-Inn Resort is environmental-friendly. The energy we use is 100% renewable, and we heat with ecological wood chips. Your day out on the ski slope will not increase your carbon footprint, either, because Ruka Ski Resort is carbon-neutral in energy use.
In this apartment type, there are a limited number of pet rooms available. To check pet room availability, please choose the option Travelling with a pet (on the right-hand column). Pets are accommodated without extra charge.
We want to guarantee a good night’s sleep for all our guests, which is why our Ski-Inn apartments have quiet hours between 10pm and 8am.

MastonAitio cottages are located on the east side of Ruka, right next to ski resort and Masto slopes. In the winter time closest SkiBus stop is within walking distance from the cottage. The cottages overlook the ski slopes and Valtavaara fell, and the closest Masto slopes, T-bar lifts and Välirinne tobogganing slope are within walking distance. The distance to the Family Park family slope area is about two kilometres, along the SkiBus route. At the Masto peak, the Juhannuskallio nature reserve area provides a winter wonderland with frozen, snow-covered trees just a short walk away. In the summer time the closest open lifts are located in Vuosseli and Valley areas where you can take a t-bar up with a bike or as a pedestrian or with a bike you can take the Village-2-valleys gondola to the top or all the way to the village.
