JuumaFest 2026 – Music, rapids and summer evening vibes in Juuma
The most anticipated event of the summer in Juuma returns on Saturday, 1 August 2026, as JuumaFest once again brings together music, nature, and the unique atmosphere of Juuma. Throughout the day, the festival moves from one location to another the Juuma way – by rafting rafts and transfers through stunning river landscapes.
The festival features music across a wide spectrum, from heavy rock to melodic atmospheres and communal jam sessions. At venues along the shores of Lakes Juumajärvi and Ajakkajärvi, you can also enjoy delicious festival menus and refreshing drinks.
Programme
1 pm – Ajakka
The day kicks off at Ajakka, where the energetic and youthful Metalstein opens the festival. Heavy riffs guarantee a powerful start to the day.
3 pm – Juuman Leirintäalue
Next, we continue by car to Juuman Leirintäalue, where local band Rain Will Fall takes the stage.
5 pm – Basecamp Oulanka
From Juuma Camping, the journey continues by rafting rafts to Basecamp Oulanka, where the festival takes on more melodic and atmospheric tones. The August sky still glows with colour and light – just like the Basecamp concert, where Ida Remsu and Timo Lampila guide the audience through intriguing themes with a blend of dance and music. The performance brings back memories through familiar melodies, introduces Baltic singing traditions, and features original compositions by Ida and Timo. During the evening, Basecamp will also host rocking tunes from the legendary band The Koskiset.
7 pm – Ala-Juuma Camping & Retkietappi
The festival day culminates with a raft transfer to the end of Juumantie, where Kitka Open Jams once again entertain guests with their ever-evolving lineup.
