RUKA SKIEXPO PRIZE DRAW RULES AND TERMS
The organiser of the Ruka Ski Expo prize draw (hereinafter the “Prize Draw”) for the Ruka ski resort is Rukakeskus Oy (hereinafter the “Organiser”). The Prize Draw can be entered on 24 October 2026 at the Ruka exhibition stand by completing a form.
PARTICIPATION
The Prize Draw can be entered via a dedicated prize draw website provided by the Organiser. Participation is permitted only using your own email address. A valid email address is required to participate. Each person may enter the Prize Draw once.
The Organiser accepts no responsibility for entries that fail to be received due to technical reasons or for incomplete, inappropriate or illegible entries.
The Prize Draw is open to persons aged 18 or over who reside in Finland. Participants under the age of 18 require the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Employees of the Organiser and its partners who have been involved in organising the Prize Draw are not eligible to participate.
The final date for entries is 24 October 2026 at 18:00, unless otherwise announced. The Organiser reserves the right to change the schedule for justified reasons. If the Prize Draw is terminated early, the prizes will be drawn from among the entries received up to the time of termination.
PRIZES AND PRIZE CONDITIONS
Two tickets to the X Games Ruka event will be drawn as the main prize among all participants who enter the Wheel of Fortune prize draw.
- The main prize consists of two-day event tickets for two people to the X Games Ruka event taking place on 9–11 April 2027.
The main prize draw will take place on 30 October 2026. The winner of the prize (hereinafter the “Winner”) will be notified personally by email at the address provided by the participant. If the Winner cannot be reached by email or through other contact details provided by them by 09:00 on 6 November 2026, the unclaimed prize will be forfeited and a new draw will be held.
Any unused prize or part thereof will not be compensated for, and the prize cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another date. The Organiser accepts no liability for any damage that may arise from participating in the promotion, accepting the prize or using it. The prize does not include transportation to Ruka.
The Organiser will pay the statutory lottery tax on the prizes.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Organiser is responsible for the content of the Prize Draw. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for issues caused by third parties, such as problems with internet connections or technical changes or service interruptions affecting social media platforms (e.g. Facebook).
Participation requires acceptance of these rules. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the rules. The promotion and its rules are governed by Finnish law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The Organiser shall resolve any ambiguities relating to the application and interpretation of these rules.
The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify participants who have breached these rules or who are suspected of having used dishonest means to enter the Prize Draw.
PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
The Organiser may send participants emails containing information related to the Prize Draw as described in the promotion. The targeting criteria for emails sent as part of the promotion may be based on information provided, choices made or actions taken by the participant, such as opening or not opening a link. Rukakeskus Oy reserves the right to make changes.
