Terms and conditions for competitions and lotteries by Ruka-Kuusamo

Involvement

You can participate in the lottery via the guest survey link. Participation is only allowed with your own email address. Participation requires a valid email address. Each person is allowed to participate in the lottery once.

The Organizer is not responsible for non-arrival or incomplete, inappropriate, or illegible answers for technical reasons.

Persons at least 15 years of age can participate in the draw. Employees of the Organizer and their partners who have participated in the raffle may not participate in the raffle.

The last day to participate is 30.9.2024, unless otherwise stated. The organizer reserves the right to change the schedule for a justified reason. If the draw is terminated prematurely, prize will be drawn among the participants by the time of suspension.

Prize

The prize of a 3 night accommodation at the Ski-inn destination in Ruka for 4 people will be drawn among the participants. The prize can be used during the winter season 2024-25 (excluding Christmas, New Year, ski holiday weeks 8-10 and Easter). The prize is worth around €500.

The winner of the prize (the “Winner”) will be contacted in person.

Prize terms

The prize draw takes place after the participation time has ended. Salmi Platform will draw the winner(s) among the prize draw participants in question. The personal data of the participants will not be disclosed to third parties and will not be used for any purpose other than carrying out the prize draw.

The winner will be notified personally via e-mail. If the winner can’t be contacted within 24 hours, a new winner will be drawn. The prize will be delivered to the winner via post mail or e-mail, depending on the prize.

Any unused prize or any portion thereof will not be refunded and may not be cashed in or transferred to another time. The Organizer is not responsible for any possible damage resulting from participating in the event, receiving the prize, or using it. The prize does not include transportation to Ruka-Kuusamo area.

The Organizer pays a statutory lottery tax on the prizes.

Other terms and conditions

The Organizer is responsible for the content of the draw. The Organizer is not responsible for problems caused by third parties, such as technical changes or interruptions in the connection to the Internet or social services (e.g. Facebook).

Participation is subject to acceptance of these rules. The Organizer reserves the right to change the rules. The measure and its rules are governed by Finnish law, with the exception of the rules concerning the choice of law. Any ambiguities related to the application and interpretation of the rules will be resolved by the Organizer.

The Organizer reserves the right to reject from the event persons who have violated these rules or who have reason to suspect that they have used dishonest means to participate.

Processing of personal data

The organizer may send the lottery-related information by e-mail to the participant as described in the procedure. The targeting criterion for sending an e-mail included in the action may be the information provided by the participant, the selection or the action taken, such as opening or not opening the link. Ruka-Kuusamo Tourist Association reserves the right to make changes.
