Ate is a vinyl-focused DJ from Jyväskylä with more than a decade behind the decks, known especially for his sets in underground parties and as a member of the JKL.RAVES collective. At the heart of his sets are smooth sounds, groovy basslines, deep and hazy atmospheres, and percussive energy, thoughtfully arranged to build a narrative through the evolving mood and energy of the room.

OCCU
Occu’s journey of 13 years as a dj, mostly in the underground of Jyväskylä and Tampere, unintentionally follows the canon of psychedelic music in the spirit of the first and second psychedelic revolution of the 60’s and the 90’s: Beginning with prog, space and kraut rock vinyls along jazz, blues, folk, reggae, dub, ambient and alternative heavy music before moving on to cdj’ing deep house, hypnotic techno, trippy trance and heady uk garage.
Think about the hippies and punks coming together in search of spirituality, communality and freedom through raving: The weird and wonderful clandestine underground, mixing genres and breaking boundaries, forming all new tribes. These ideals and the ethos of the rave culture is what inspires Occu’s soulful and bouncy, sometimes zippy and othertimes shadowey, but often narrative sets of mostly minimal dance music with an emphasis on long transitions, hefty bass and snappy or even a bit cheeky groove. Mysterious but fun!

Hi7eHi7e creates a magical musical world from her collections, which you can dive into like a blue lagoon with MattaMatka. She has been enjoying music since childhood with her father, who broadened her understanding of the effects of music on the mind and emotions. He has explored the relationship between his own nature and the surrounding nature through movement and music and founded his own Nature Dance concept, where playfulness, experimentation, and the unpredictability of music unite our nature. Music is part of Hi7e Hi7e's celebration of life through dance and movement, singing, and spinning vinyl records.

Matka (LIVE)
Matka (Matti Martiskainen) was raised in Oulu and is a founding member of Transcendent Productions ry. He moved to Rovaniemi over ten years ago and is a multi-artist who served as the chairman of the organization founded in 2016 for the first years. In addition to rapping and producing music, street dancing and especially breaking have been very close to his heart since he was a little boy. He has also become familiar with organizing events in addition to his diverse community work.

Matka enjoys always learning something new in the arts, and at the same time having fun with a group.
