Yay! This summer, all 10-year-olds enjoy the fun at Ruka for free!
Since 2019, 10-year-olds from our local area have been skiing at Ruka for free. During the 2024–2025 winter season, to celebrate our anniversary year, we offered all 10-year-olds a free season pass to the slopes.
Now, for the first time ever, we're extending this benefit to summer: Every child born in 2015 gets a free Ruka Fun Pass or Ruka Speed Pass, giving them a full day of summer fun at Ruka between June 7 and September 21, 2025.
With this initiative, we want to encourage outdoor activity for children and make nature experiences in the fells accessible for families.
The Ruka Fun Pass includes unlimited access to the summer sled track, scenic lifts, zipline, mini golf, and the Bike Park for one day. It also allows free disc golf disc rentals for two courses, and offers discounts to the water park, bike rentals, and many other attractions and services in the area.
The Ruka Speed Pass includes all Ruka Fun Pass activities, plus access to the Ruka Coaster and Ruka Rally downhill carts (opening for both activities planned for July).
