The Solstice Festival returns to the breathtaking plateau of fell Rukatunturi, Finland, from 18–20 June 2026. This unique gathering blends cutting-edge music, art, and outdoor culture beneath the never-setting sun of midsummer, where daylight lasts around the clock.
Imagine dancing to world-class electronic sounds while surrounded by untamed northern wilderness, free-roaming reindeer, and the serene rhythm of local life. Here, nature is not just a backdrop - it’s part of the experience. From misty fells and thousands of lakes to the vibrant energy of the Arctic Circle, Solstice Festival at Ruka-Kuusamo offers an atmosphere unlike anywhere else.
The newly announced artists join an already stellar lineup featuring minimal house icon Sonja Moonear, dynamic duo Peach & C.K, Solstice favorites Sansibar & Spekki Webu, Mad Professor’s Live Dub show, RHR, Xiaolin live, DJ Koolt, Nairobi-born ambient visionary KMRU, and Trickpony, the band formed by Roza Terenzi, emkay, and Mike Midnight, plus many more.

How to reach Ruka-Kuusamo:
Kuusamo has weekly flight connections from Finland’s capital city Helsinki with Finnair.
You can also travel by cozy night train in a sleeping car from Helsinki to Kemijärvi and take a scheduled bus (90 minutes) from there to Ruka-Kuusamo.
Nearby cities Rovaniemi and Oulu have also airports and from there are regular bus connections to Ruka-Kuusamo.
