NUTS SKI Ruka is an adventurous ski event in Oulanka National Park. Classic style skiing, 60 or 34 kilometers. You can choose to race or to take the trip as an excursion.
The longer 60 km route will start at Oulanka Visitor Centre at 9 a.m. and travel through the wilderness of the national park partly without a maintained trail. The shorter 34 km trail starts at Juuma at 12 a.m. It winds via Virkkula and Lammintupa to Ruka (race and excursion). The finish line is located at Ruka village and competitors should finish their trip by 8 a.m.
