Two new lifts, a gondola and a chairlift are being built on front slopes, so summer sled track and scenery lift are not in use in summer 2018. Also a disc golf course in Ruka fell area is not in use and Ruka Ski Chalet is building an extension in Ruka village.
Despite of building sites services and activities in Ruka village are at use throughout the summer season. Starting point of Karhunkierros trail goes next to lift construction site and trails in Ruka area, such as Valtavaara day trip trail and Ruka round route are walkable. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the constructions. More information: www.ruka.fi/en/new
