Renovated in 2021, RukaVillage45 is suitable for active families. The apartment features a bedroom with 90 cm twin beds, and a sleeping alcove that has a bunk bed with an 80 cm top bed and 120 cm bottom bed. (Note that the bunk bed's length is only 185 cm). In the kitchen and living room area, the sofa bed can be used as an extra bed free of charge, so the total number of beds in the apartment is 4+2. Families with small children (aged 0‒2 yrs) can book a cot from the reception or sales service. The cot fee is 10€/booking (note that there are a limited number of cots available). The apartment has a light-filled bathroom with a private sauna and separate WC. The apartment also features a kitchen, 4-person dining area and balcony.
Living is easy, as the bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning are always included in the price.
Ski-Inn reception is at the hotel's street level.
The apartment's storage facilities are specially designed for winter sports enthusiasts. In the hotel common area, all the apartments have also a separate ski locker, and a ski maintenance room, laundrette and clothing maintenance room are at your disposal. You can park your car in the heated parking garage (320 places, parking fee), which has a direct indoor access to the apartments. Free outdoor parking lots are available at Kelo and Stadion.
In Ruka Ski-Inn apartments, you can sort and recycle biowaste, plastic, glass, metal, paper and cardboard. All Ruka Ski Resort's apartment buildings have a waste collection point with separate waste containers. Your holiday at Ruka Ski Resort is environmental-friendly. The energy we use is 100% renewable, and we heat with ecological wood chips. Your day out on the ski slope won't increase your carbon footprint, as Ruka Ski Resort lifts run on renewable energy.
This apartment type has two pet rooms available. To check pet room availability, please choose the option "Travelling with a pet" (on the right-hand column). Pets are accommodated without extra charge.
We want to guarantee a good night’s sleep for all our guests, which is why our Ski-Inn apartments have quiet hours between 10 PM and 8 AM.

RukaVillage apartments are located in Ruka village. To the east, the apartments have a view to the central square and Front slopes. To the west, the apartments overlook the peaceful nature of Kuusamo, all the way up to lake Kitkajärvi. In the close proximity of the hotel, there are several restaurants, including Colorado Bar & Grill, that serves the breakfast included in the hotel room price. From the shopping centre Kumpare, you’ll find shops, restaurants, bowling hall and gym.
Getting to the winter slopes and the x-country ski trails couldn’t be easier – the Front slopes and Talvijärvi slope are the closest ones. Village-2-Valley scenic gondola will take you directly to the other side of the Ruka fell, Rosa & Rudolf Family Park and Saarua slopes. The gondola is accessible by wheelchair and pushchair. Pets are also welcome. During the summer season, the gondola provides an easy access to the biking and hiking trails and Valtavaara Nature Reserve.
