SAARUA BATTERYPARK

BatteryPark gate welcomes you in to the park - reshaped once again!

Big Jump has been tested and praised by many riders, but some new features have been built. Landings are now bigger and safer than before. There are still small, medium and big kicker lines. Select your line according to your riding level and get familiar with jumps before jumping.

Upper Jumps
Big Jump is for advanced riders and it is over 3.5 metres high with a distance to landing of 20 metres. Many riders like Big Jump because it's smooth and there's time to perform grabs and stuff. Landing is steep and almost 20 metres long. The first kicker for the medium line is on the left side, about 2.5 metres high with a distance to landing of 15 metres. If big and medium jumps are out of your league, try the small kicker on the rider's right. Distance to landing is about 6 m. It is safe to land even on top of the jump.

Tabletops
The next jump is Tabletop giving a long and smooth air. Again, you can choose your take-off according to your skill level. Tabletop Big line: distance to landing 12 metres or the Tabletop medium on the rider's left: distance to landing about 8 metres. You can also take the small kicker on rider’s right which is about 5 m long. You can even land on the top of the smaller jump, which makes it ideal for small riders to practice with less speed.

The following jump is a small tabletop jump about 3 metres in size. This is very safe, since you won't jump very high.

Rails
You will find rails after the last jump. So-called Press Boxes are suitable for training new tricks. The straight Press Boxes are 4 metres in length (13 feet) and 5 metres (16 feet). There is also an 8-metre (27 feet) kinky rail with two turn-downs, a C-shaped Press Box and 6 metre–long, 1.5-metre high Flat Down Press Box. Furthermore, you will find two rails, which are 5 metres (17 feet) long.

After the rails you will find one more jump at the end of the park: 8 m to the landing.

The sizes of the jumps and the locations of the rails might alter during the winter depending on snow cover.

Ski and ride safely!
- Please try to keep the line you've chosen (small, medium, big) to avoid crashes!
- Do not stand on top of the jumps or in the landings!
- Before jumping: get familiar with the jumps and make sure there's nobody coming down the same line at the same time!
