HUSKY FARM  Our leader dogs  will lead you to the wonderful world of arctic husky dogs! Their spirit is amazing, especially when YOU are driving! Our husky dog farm consists of over 200 dogs. They are well trained and well-behaving sledge dogs: Siberian huskies and Alaskan huskies (mix-breeds) We emphasize the well-being of our dogs, high quality safaris and good customer service. Our experienced guides will take you to an unforgettable adventure. You get to be the driver after thorough driving instructions. Our routes are safe to drive. Autumn 2005 we received the Pan Parks Certification for eco turismn.

Our huskyfam, The Wolf´s Fang is only 7 km from Ruka centre, in a village called Rukajärvi. There you can pick a safari starting from 2 km, 5 km, 10 km, 20 km or 30 km ! Usually we have a cup of coffee by the fire after the safari. You can also book a wilderness luch and enjoy it at the farm or on the route! Visit also our souvenir-shop.You can find there also reindeers.

SUMMER 01.06. - 15.09.2009  Visiting the huskyfarm. We have guided visits to meet our dogs: 11.00 and 13.00 and 15.00 everyday. Introduction to the husky farm 5 e/person.   (Next summer 2010: every day 10.00 and 12.00 and 14.00) No need to pre-booking.

The prices of our husky safaris start from 33 e / 2 km / person. REMEMBER whenever/wherever you book - always ask how many kilometre is the dog-safari !
A pre-reservation is important and enables us to concentrate only in You!  The one week-husky safaries for this winter season.   You can choose from 3- 5 days !

SafariCafe SUSI in Oulanka Naturecentre, Kiutaköngäs is open everyday 10 -18. We will serve food everyday, cafeteria, trek-meals, souvenirs, Safari-info & -sales. Rental snowshoes, walking poles, canoes and more.
